Hi, I'm Richard. I'm a soon-to-be economics PhD student. I'm going to learn to talk in game theory and econometrics. I've started this blog to make sure I don't forget how to talk about economic ideas in English, too. If I don't practice this sort of thing, my soon-to-be-law-student girlfriend will crush me in arguments even worse than she already does.
I like "enocomics" because it kind of looks like a funky spelling of "economics" plus it's got the word "comics" in it. That's my hope for this blog---I'll probably get all the economics mixed up, but maybe in the end it will resemble something humorous.
Joking aside, these really are my rhetorical principles. Nobody polite enough to listen to your ideas deserves to be bored by them. You've gotta earn your right to argue by being amusing, but you equally must earn the right to joke around by actually making a thoughtful argument, lest you become a troll.
